Become a Member
Becoming a member is a great way for you to express, “This is my home and I want to be part of the church family!”
Each part gets its meaning from the body as a whole, not the other way around. The body we’re talking about is Christ’s body of chosen people. Each of us finds our meaning and function as a part of His body. But as a chopped-off finger or cut-off toe we wouldn’t amount to much, would we?
- Romans 12:4-5, The Message
Membership is a helpful way for the church leaders to know who they are pastorally responsible for and accountable to before God.
It is a practical way for the church leaders to know who they can consult on constitutional matters such as voting on elders or other matters of church life.
Being a member also means we can potentially give you an official reference (e.g. school admission, new job, ministry training, passport etc)
If you’ve been attending for a little while and would like to find out more, please fill in the short form below to request the link to our Exploring Membership page - this has lots more about the importance and commitments of membership and outlines the covenant between leaders and members.
